Bob Pryor, songwriter, trainer, and performer, has been involved in music for over 40 years. At the age of 10 he began teaching himself guitar in response to the "British Invasion" and never looked back.

Bob's earliest influences always included music with strong harmonic structure, which is reflected in many of his original compositions. His music crosses many genres and has been written to accommodate different styles of performances. Bob has always been meticulous in varying his genres, writing what he feels, rather then staying in one distinctive style. His music will always strike a "chord" with someone.

Bob has been a Texas "citizen" for over 30 years and runs a Houston based training company, which conducts classes on management, related subjects as well as owning and operating "Throwback Music Companies" and most recently The Texas Musician’s Association”. Bob had spent the last 20 years building his training company, but the last few years has gone back to his musical roots in a big way. He has built a project-recording studio and is actively involved in recording original music he has accumulated throughout the years along with the new tunes he is creating. Bob plays lead guitar, bass and sings.

In 2003 Bob released his first CD “Throwback – The Beginning” - http://www.mytexasmusic.com/throwback/, and he will be releasing his 2nd CD “Reflections In Time” later this year. He also plans on releasing a compilation CD that will include only songs that he has co-written with other writers. The projected name is “Bob and Friends”.

In addition to all his on-going projects, Bob has recently founded the “ The Texas Musician’s Association” which will provide training in the business of music and also provide support services to Texas Musicians. He hopes that his creation of the Texas Musician's Association will be the catalyst that unites the considerable talent in Texas to national prominence. He hopes in the near future to be able to start a “ Texas Musician’s Association” Internet radio station which would cater to Texas indie artists and provide them another platform to showcase their considerable talents.
