Training - Musician's Management Guide

One of the most daunting tasks for a musician is to learn how to manage the support staff that will assist them in their career decisions and coordinate their performances, scheduling, etc. It is not enough to have the musical talent, but an insight on how to manage people and how to get them to give their best efforts in furthering your career is a necessary skill.

In order to assist musician’s in this key area, The Texas Musician’s Association will now offer a training program to guide musicians over some of the "rough spots", and provide them a knowledge of fundamental Management techniques to help them make sound judgments and succeed in their careers. These classes are taught by an instructor with over forty years experience in the business and entertainment environment who can parallel typical music related situations to standard management and “people” concepts which are so vital for the musician.
